Jewish Federation

federationThe Jewish Federation of Greater Ann Arbor is one of the primary community agencies. Federation brings the entire community together to build meaningful connections with each other and with our partner community in Israel, Moshav Nahalah, and globally.  Expressing the values of Tzedakah and Tikkun Olam, Federation seeks to raise funds to strengthen the many Jewish organizations we rely on everyday. Please explore their website for more information.

Many Jewish denominations are represented in Ann Arbor giving you a variety of worship options and opportunities to explore Jewish traditions. Some of them are housed at the JCC. All of our worship communities would be happy to welcome you and help you find your next spiritual home. The Hebrew Day School of Ann Arbor is Ann Arbor’s K-5 Jewish day school located within the JCC building. This non-denominational school provides a high quality education that includes rigorous secular and Hebrew immersion studies. Children who attend HDS are exceptionally well prepared for academically competitive middle schools, and leave with a strong sense of Jewish identity.
