Thursdays – 11:00 AM-12:00 PM
Instructors: Maria Farquhar
Low-impact exercise benefits every part of the body, including the mind. Exercises in this class can be done with the aid of a chair, while sitting, or while standing, and may include resistance bands or light hand weights. The workout contains balance, strengthening, and endurance exercises. To increase each person’s energy, different techniques are introduced: Chinese self-massage, Qigong practice to draw energy from nature, and Donna Eden’s energy exercise routines. For cool downs, some Tai Chi practices are used. This is a class that every individual can tailor to their own needs, and a great addition to any health maintenance routine.
$3 per person, per class
